The following cake was created for a lady celebrating her 50th birthday. The party theme was 'Dickie Bows and Diamonds' and the request was for the cake to have a model of the birthday girl and a bottle of champagne. We decided to create a 2 tier cake to give some height, which adds a real 'wow' factor, and keep the decoration minimalistic and classy so that the main focus would be the model of the birthday girl. She has been created entirely from icing and dressed in the clothes that she would be wearing at her party, complete with a black feather 'fascinator'.
